Brief analysis on insulation drying operation of kerosene gas phase drying equipment

The insulation drying of kerosene gas phase drying equipment is a very important process in the manufacturing process of transformer, which has a great impact on the quality of transformer. If the drying is not complete, the residual water in the insulating material will form an electrode under high electric field and continue to produce free discharge, which will gradually destroy the insulation characteristics of the insulating material. At the same time, in the normal operation of the transformer, the aging process of the insulating material itself will be accelerated, and the service life of the transformer will be shortened. If the drying is excessive, the crystalline water in the insulating material will escape, which will lead to the early aging of the insulating material and the reduction of mechanical strength. That is, shortly after the heating stage starts, the distillation system starts to work after the amount of kerosene mixed into the transformer oil reaches a certain level. The mixed liquid in the distillation chamber is balanced with the liquid level in the distillation chamber IV through the balance valve 71, and the valve 12 is closed. The mixed liquid in the distillation chamber is pumped from the lower part of the distillation chamber to the upper part of the distillation chamber by the circulating pump 13 and sprayed onto the heat carrying oil coil through the porous nozzle for full heating and evaporation. At the beginning of a distillation cycle, the evaporated kerosene vapor can also be used to heat the transformer, so it can enter the vacuum tank together with the vapor from the evaporation chamber through the inlet valve 16. However, with the decrease of kerosene content in the distillation chamber, the temperature of the steam evaporated in the distillation chamber will rise too high, which is not suitable for heating insulation. At this time, the kerosene vapor in the distillation chamber is introduced into the distillation condenser 5 through valve 9 for condensation. After condensation, it is also collected in tank III. Then the remaining transformer oil is discharged out of the system as waste oil. This is called a distillation cycle. Generally speaking, the gas phase drying process of kerosene is divided into four stages. First, the vacuum tank is evacuated without heating and evaporation (preparation stage), and then the qualified steam without requirements is sent to the vacuum tank to heat the body. The temperature of the body is continuously increased, and the water in the insulation is continuously evaporated and pumped away (heating stage). After meeting certain requirements, stop sending steam. The temperature in the tank is maintained by the heating pipe outside the vacuum tank wall. Vacuum the vacuum tank and turn the remaining steam into steam to improve the vacuum degree in the tank (low vacuum stage). Further improve the vacuum degree in the tank to further evaporate the water and kerosene in the insulation (high vacuum stage), so as to completely dry the dryer body.
